Job Summary

This position is key to the National IT Service Provider in delivering Web technologies for the client. This role will deliver web content management technical solutions and support for the client System and various business units within the Seventh District. Interacts with clients to support projects from a technical perspective and provides web content management solutions to achieve business objectives. Supports, installs, configure, maintain and administer the System standard content management system and associated web technologies. The level of work required is considered advanced and staff must be able to work under minimal supervision. This position does not have direct reports.

The Client is looking for a Senior Instructional Designer to join our growing technology training team. We are looking for a versatile individual to lead multiple instructional design and development projects that will produce online performance support and job aids, interactive eLearning coursewares, and blended training solutions. We are looking for a real team player with excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated instructional design expertise, and a motivation for working in a highly participative environment. The level of work required for this role is considered advanced. This role also requires that an individual can work under minimal supervision.

Fuel system Engineer

Description:

  • As a member of the Fuel Systems Controls team within LPSD Mechatronics, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing, validating and calibrating diesel fuel system control algorithms and related diagnostics on current and future CLIENT engine products. Specific responsibilities include performing systems engineering, requirements development, digital control algorithm development, sensor/actuator dynamics modeling, stability analysis, simulation and performance analysis, all supporting diesel fuel system products. This individual will also serve as an interface between engine development, electrical/electronics and fuel system design groups. This involves performing development and validation employing system tests on benches, engines and vehicles that result in acceptable system performance vs. specification. The individual must be able to work as part of a team, have a systems engineering focus, and be motivated to meet/exceed customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • Candidate should have a BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical or General Engineering and 3 years of experience, or an MS degree in the same disciplines with 1 year of experience, having demonstrated competence in utilizing classical/modern control theory and system dynamic principles in the development of electrohydraulic and electromechanical control systems. The candidate must have a working knowledge of Matlab family of controls development tools, literate with C and VBA programming language, and capable of troubleshooting engine systems via PC based service/calibration tools, standard lab instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
