Intranet Portal Situation:
The client required a complete automation of it business processes and a new solution by which administration, recruitment and client coordination activities can be managed over the web.

Critical Issue:
The management of constantly changing data and availability of current and accurate data for generating reports were not available in the current system. The current system is also not scalable for automatic update and tracking of global projects.

Vision:
A single system that can integrate all functions of day to day management and long term strategic initiatives. This system will also function as a portal for both internal and external customers.

Solution Provided by VIVA:
The off-shore team of VIVA developed an intranet portal using ASP, Visual Basic, SQL Server, XML, Java, COM and DCOM to fulfill the client needs.

Result:
The productivity of client is higher after implementation of the product and it also serves as a marketing tool by driving more business through its site.

Case Tracking SystemSituation:
The client has a group of case managers who are spread throughout the state and they are always on the move to meet the customers and work on various cases involving employment laws.

Critical Issue:
The managers are unable to interact with their home office smoothly since the database in their laptop is not synchronized with the home office database. Also, logic of the current system is not dynamically updated with the current business rules and its functionality is limited.

Vision:
An enterprise wide application that can seamlessly function when the managers are in the office or away at the customer site and an accurate reporting and documentation of case results.

Solution Provided by VIVA:
The offshore team of VIVA developed a solution using C++, Visual Basic, SQL Server, MS Access and XML.

Result:
The case managers are now able to efficiently track their cases and schedule site visits. They are pleased that our solution is helping them to synchronize their database with the corporate database and this helps them to change their jurisdiction of cases with less turnaround time.

Campus Intranet Product Situation:
Every University needs an Intranet Solution for their Administrative staff, students and faculty.

Critical Issue:
Currently, there is no system that brings the administrative staff and the users together to access and process information and complete tasks like class registration, purchase of books and other products, payment of tuition and tickets, application for loan and housing, etc.

Vision:
The users can log into the system from anywhere and query and complete any requests involving contact management, ebusiness and ecommerce activities.
