This position is manages the network databases for the Georgia/Alabama Network.
The position will be responsible for sanitizing data, populating information and reaching out to multiple departments to keep projects moving.

Responsibilities:

Drive large-scale engineering projects using Project Management tools to ensure objectives are met on time and within overall budget. Leads multiple complex projects and is expected to lead the most complex and/or high impact projects.
Provide guidance and project direction for cross-departmental teams both within and outside the Regional Network Organization. Responsible for planning, execution and completion of assigned projects.
Maintain high customer satisfaction (both internal and external) through successful and timely project management. Typically manages multiple projects at one time.
Collaborate and guide internal and external vendors to meet targeted network milestones and integration dates in multiple project management tools.
Successfully interface with multiple levels of the business and management.
Manage and maintain database integrity in multiple project management tools.
Maintain a high performance level under varying degrees of pressure and uncertainty. Must be self-motivated and able to work at a fast pace in a multi-tasking environment with little or no direction.
Interpret network designs and populate databases from the design.
Escalate issues and crash project plans when necessary to keep schedules on-track.
Uses independent judgment and discretion to make decisions in the best interest of the business.
Produce weekly reports from multiple project management tools to display progress and obstacles
Cross reference and sanitize data from multiple sources to produce a single data set for each site

Qualities:

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Finance, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent Military or work experience.
Three or more years of technical experience in the cellular or telecommunications industry.
Excellent Project Management skills and experience managing and driving complex, high dollar, high visibility projects. PMP Certification is preferred.
Strong analytical, financial and technical skills.
Persuasive Communication Skills – Highly refined and successful verbal and written communications skilled are required. Must apply appropriate grammar in clear and concise communications and listen attentively. Must be able to present ideas in a logical, compelling manner in both small and large group settings; be courteous, while persistent, in sharing and collecting information.
Expert knowledge of Project Management Tools (e.g., MS Project) and MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required. In depth knowledge of Siterra and Site Tracker are preferred.
Strong Decision-making and Leadership abilities (especially as it pertains to providing direction to teams that do not directly report to you). Appropriately use all available information and data. Must make decisions, act on those decisions and provide guidance and direction.
Strong organizational skills. Must be logical, detail oriented and have the ability to work independently, accurately and effectively in stressful and fast-paced environment.
Positive ‘Can Do’ attitude. Must work efficiently and be self-motivated. Maintain high performance level under varying degrees of pressure and be able to work at a fast pace in a multi-tasking environment with little or no direction, while maintain a positive and effective attitude and demeanor.
Excellent interpersonal skills are mandatory (including the ability to interact with technical & non-technical teams). Must be a team player and be committed to the team’s success.

Knowledge of wireless network architecture and industry. Experience with Alcatel-Lucent and Ericsson LTE infrastructure, and Cisco / Juniper Routers are preferred.
Solid understanding of telecommunications industry standards is preferred. Including functions and platforms such as: Ethernet backhaul, Microwave, Transport equipment, Industry Regulatory requirements, cellular hardware and connectivity.
Able to work flexible hours and support night or weekend work as needed.
Some travel may be required, primarily within the region.
Valid Driver's License is required.
